Level 2 National Award in Introduction to Equality and Inclusion in Health, Social Care or Children’s and Young People’s Settings (QCF). This is a two day course.
It is vital that employees working within Health and Social Care or with children and young people are able to demonstrate the right qualities and gain the appropriate qualifications in order to support vulnerable adults, children and young people to gain the best in life and provide them with a safe and secure environment.
This course is aimed at those who work in health or social care settings or with children or young people in a wide range of settings. The course introduces the concepts of equality, diversity and inclusion which are fundamental to such roles.
It is recommended that all learners on this course will have completed Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
The learner is assessed by oral questions during the course and the completion of a portfolio of evidence of exercises and assignments. An element of the assessment is also carried out by a supervisor testimony in the real work environment.
