Satellite Centres.

In addition to delivering qualifications directly, QA Associates also work in partnership with a number of other employers and training providers (known as ’satellite centres’) to deliver workplace-specific qualifications.

QA Associates currently act as the ‘approved assessment centre’ for 12 ‘satellite’ organisations. Together, we deliver a wide range of qualifications focusing mainly on the transport and logistics, aviation, fire & community safety and emergency services sectors:

Our Satellite Centres.

The Fire Service College. The Fire Service College is regarded as the world’s leading fire training college. Established in 1966, the college is responsible for meeting the needs and demands of Fire & Rescue services and emergency responders in the UK and abroad. QA Associates provide the quality assurance & verification of the BTEC range of fire safety qualifications that students attain following their training.

London Fire Brigade. London Fire Brigade is the third largest firefighting organisation in the world responsible for protecting life and property from fire within Greater London. QA Associates provide the quality assurance & verification of the NVQ ‘Emergency Fire Services’ qualification for Firefighters attain following their training.

Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service. Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service is the largest non Metropolitan Fire & Rescue Service in the country and delivers Fire & Rescue services on behalf of the Fire Authority for the whole of Devon & Somerset. QA Associates provide the quality assurance & verification of the BTEC ‘Compartment Fire Behaviour Training’ qualification that students attain following their training.

SMS Safety Management Services (UK). Safety Management Services (UK) are an NVQ Approved Assessment Centre in the quarrying and mining sector. They facilitate mining operations, health, safety and environmental management qualifications for personnel at all levels, including operatives and managers. QA Associates provide the quality assurance & verification of the NVQ ‘Mineral Extraction and Management’ qualification that students attain following their training.

EFA Trading. EFA (Trading) Limited is the commercial arm of the Essex Fire Authority. The company was formed in 2005 to provide fire related training, products and engineering services. QA Associates provide the quality assurance & verification of the BTEC ‘Compartment Fire Behaviour Training’ qualification that students attain following their training.

Pride (UK) . Pride is one of the very few Driver CPC Approved Centres in the country. They specialise in transport training, development and monitoring across the whole of the UK. QA Associates provide the quality assurance & verification of the BTEC ‘Driver Instructor Training’ qualification that students attain following their training

FPM Training. FPM Training are world leaders in the research, design, delivery and evaluation of workforce development programmes for Government departments/agencies, local authorities & the voluntary organisations. QA Associates provide the quality assurance & verification of the BTEC ‘Working with Young People’ qualification that students attain following their training.

MJ Airport Associates. MJ Airport Associates are an airfield operations training & consultancy based in the UK specialising in aerodrome airside operations and safety. QA Associates provide the quality assurance & verification of the BTEC range of aviation qualifications that students attain following their training.

Fulcrum Consultants. Fulcrum Consultants provide consultancy, assessment & verification services for clients operating in the emergency response industry. They also act as the Secretariat of JOIFF, the Organisation for Emergency Services Management. QA Associates provide the quality assurance & verification of the NVQ ‘Emergency Fire Services’ qualification for Firefighters & Watch Managers attain following their training.

Xact Consultancy & Training. Xact provide tailor-made fire safety and fire engineering training which help customers’ maximise their business potential by enhancing the skills and resources of their personnel. QA Associates provide the quality assurance & verification of the BTEC ‘Core Skills in Investigation’ qualification that students attain following their training.
