Feedback from Kelvingrove Medical Centre on our Level 2 Infection Control course

QA Training RoomWe delivered a Level 2 Infection Control course at our training centre in Ripley, Derbyshire on Thursday 9th April. This new course forms part of the Care Certificate Standards and is suitable for anyone working in the Health and Social Care Sector including, Care Home Staff, Medical Centre Staff, cleaners, nursery staff and child minders.

 

The course included the following:

How to stop infections from spreading and how to safeguard others from catching infections.

Being able to identify the signs and symptoms of infections.

Knowledge of roles and responsibilities within the workplace.

Knowledge of maintaining a high level of domestic hygiene including correct ways to dispose of waste materials.

How to carry out an effective Risk Assessment in your work place.

Correct ways of washing hands to remove germs and bacteria and to prevent Infections from spreading.
