safeguarding-vulnerable-adultsOur ‘quality assured’ training modules are selected specifically for the Health and Social Care sector and provide the training and support for employers to meet their statutory obligations, to enable staff to enhance their work-skills and be rewarded with an accredited qualification from an Awarding Body.

The training courses are designed to meet the new Care Certificate Standards that come into effect from April 2015 and will be a mandatory requirement for anyone working in the Health and Social Care sector. It is the responsibility of employers to deliver the Care Certificate, including the knowledge and competence outcomes as part of their staff induction programme. All new staff must complete the Care Certificate Standards within 12 weeks of starting employment.

Anyone starting in the health or social care sectors must complete the Care Certificate. This means health care assistants, assistant practitioners, care support workers and anyone supporting clinical roles in the NHS where they have direct contact with patients. It also includes adult social care workers providing direct care in residential and nursing homes and hospices, plus home care workers.

Caring volunteers, porters, cooks, drivers and other employees that have direct contact with patients and service users may also need to undertake all or some of the Care Certificate.

Our programmes are constructed using our extensive list of courses to provide you with the best possible combination of training and development that Health Care Centres, Medical Centres, Care Homes or the Social Work sector requires.
