23 Aug GCSE Results
At last the majority of ‘A’ level and GCSE results are out following many twists and turns in the process.
At QA we are very pleased that our marking services used by a number of schools throughout the country has made a contribution.
The centre assessment grade (CAG) that was finally used was the teacher’s professional judgement of the most likely grade a student would have achieved if exams had gone ahead.
The CAG was based on a range of evidence including mock exams, non-exam assessment, homework assignments and any other record of student performance over the course of study and could well be used again if a resolution is not found for Covid 19.
