BTEC Level 7 Advanced Professional Award in Forensic delay analysis in construction

QA Associates are delighted to announce, ‘Awarding Body’ approval for a new Level 7 Advanced Professional Award within our ‘BTEC assessment centre’.

Working in partnership with Autonomy Expert Services Limited (AES) who will deliver the expert training delivery, QA are providing the administration relating to the registration and certification of learners, quality assurance, and assessment services for the BTEC award.

AES are experts in the forensic investigation of project delay in the construction and engineering sectors and advise and train lawyers, consultants, contractors and developers faced with complex delay related disputes globally.

Our BTEC (SRF) Level 7 Advanced Professional Award in Forensic Delay Analysis in Construction is the only accredited training programme delivered by professional forensic delay experts which leads to a recognised UK masters-level qualification.

On completion of the programme, learners will be able to:

  • Formulate robust methodologies for analysing delay based on available information and best practice.
  • Evaluate the reasons for critical delays based on robust, fact-based analysis.
  • Prepare independent expert witness reports suitable for submission in adjudication, arbitration or litigation proceedings.

The advanced training programme equips practitioners with the knowledge and skills needed to perform forensic delay analysis in major construction disputes at expert witness level and will enable learners to actively resolve a range of problematic issues, including determination of extension of time, concurrent delay, float ownership, critical path identification, disruption and acceleration, with or without reliance on computer software.

The public-access programme runs throughout the year and can also be provided as one-off tailored in-house programmes to major law firms, contractors, consultants and developers globally.

Successful completion of the programme and the assessment leads to the BTEC Level 7 Advanced Professional Award in Forensic Delay Analysis in Construction (APA FDA) accredited and awarded by Pearson the UK’s largest awarding body offering academic and vocational qualifications that are globally recognised and benchmarked.
